Terms of use
The rules for using the Waaldé Impact website, the learner area and enrolment requests.
Last updated: 22 September 2026
01Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Waaldé Impact website: browsing the catalogue, the placement pre-test, the guidance quiz, enrolment requests, the learner area, certificate verification and job applications.
Using the site implies accepting them. Anyone who does not accept them is invited not to use the site and to contact the firm by phone or in person.
Enrolling in a programme also requires accepting these terms when submitting the form.

03Access to the site and learner area
Browsing the site is free. Some features require an account: the learner area, which brings together enrolments, course materials and certificates.
An account is created with an email address. Each person is responsible for keeping their password confidential and for actions taken from their account. Tell the firm immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
Information provided when enrolling must be accurate: it is used to issue certificates, which show the name entered.
04Services offered
- A catalogue of certificate programmes and short modules, with syllabus, duration and fee
- A free placement pre-test that assesses the starting level and points to a suitable programme
- A guidance quiz that recommends programmes based on the visitor's profile
- A learner area: enrolment tracking, course materials and certificates
- Online verification of certificates issued by the firm
- A careers area for applying to the firm's job openings
05Enrolment requests
The enrolment form is a request, not a final enrolment. The firm reviews each application, then contacts the person to confirm their place and explain payment arrangements.
No payment is requested on the site when the form is submitted. The site currently takes no online payment and collects no banking data.
Attachments (CV, diploma, ID photo) are optional. They are only used to review the application.
An identity document may be requested on the first day of the course, to check the identity that will appear on the certificate. Its number is not collected on the site.
The firm may decline a request, in particular where the prerequisites are not met or the session is full. Reasons are given to the applicant, and another programme may be offered.
06Fees and payment
Fees shown on the site are in CFA francs (XOF) and are per participant. They may change; the applicable fee is the one given when the enrolment is confirmed.
Cohort and company training are subject to a quotation.
Payment arrangements, including any instalments, are set out when the enrolment is confirmed.
07Cancellation, postponement and absence
No contract is concluded and no payment is made on the site. Enrolment becomes final when the firm confirms it. Before any payment, the firm informs the participant in writing of the course's main features, the total price, payment terms, cancellation and refund conditions, and whether or not a right of withdrawal applies.
The firm may postpone or cancel a session, in particular if there are too few participants. Enrolled participants are informed and offered another session or a refund of the amounts paid for the cancelled session.
Cancellation by the participant, and how absences are handled, are set out when the enrolment is confirmed.
08Certificates
At the end of a certificate programme, the firm issues a certificate to participants who meet the conditions stated on the programme page, including a minimum attendance rate and a passing final project or assessment. Other programmes lead to a certificate of attendance.
Each certificate carries a unique number. Anyone, in particular an employer, can check it on the “Verify a certificate” page. Verification shows only the holder's name, the programme and the issue date.
These documents are issued by Waaldé Impact. They record attendance of professional training and are not a state diploma.
09Pre-test and guidance quiz
The pre-test assesses a starting level. Its result is indicative: it never prevents enrolment in the chosen programme, and serves to suggest preparatory training where useful.
The guidance quiz recommends programmes from the visitor's answers. These recommendations are automatic and do not replace a conversation with an adviser.
10Online assistant
The site offers a conversational assistant that answers common questions about the firm and its programmes. Its answers are produced by an artificial intelligence model and may contain errors.
They are provided for information. Where they differ, the programme page and the information given by the firm's team prevail. No answer from the assistant constitutes a contractual commitment.
11Intellectual property
The site's content — texts, syllabuses, images, logo, layout — and the materials handed out during training are protected and belong to the firm or their respective authors.
Materials given to a participant are for personal use. Reproducing, distributing or using them to deliver training is not allowed without the firm's written consent.
Short quotations with a credit remain possible.
12Fair use of the site
When using the site, everyone agrees not to:
- attempt to access an account, data or part of the site not intended for them
- disrupt the site, in particular through mass automated requests
- submit false information in an enrolment or job application form
- reproduce all or part of the site or its content for commercial purposes
13Availability and liability
The firm works to keep the site available and its information accurate. The service may nevertheless be interrupted, in particular for maintenance, updates or technical incidents beyond its control.
The site may link to third-party sites whose content the firm does not control.
The firm cannot be held liable for a temporary outage, a factual error in content that is promptly corrected, or the use a visitor makes of the information on the site.
14Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy, available from the site footer. It sets out what is collected, why, for how long, and everyone's rights.
15Changes to these terms
The firm may amend these terms, in particular to reflect changes to the site or to the law. The applicable version is the one published on this page; the last update date appears at the top.
For an enrolment in progress, the applicable version remains the one accepted when the form was submitted.
16Force majeure
The firm is not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by force majeure, such as a natural disaster, a health crisis, a decision of the authorities, serious unrest or a general network outage. The session concerned is then postponed or, failing that, amounts paid for the part not delivered are refunded.
17Evidence and electronic communications
Emails, forms submitted on the site and records kept in the firm's systems are admissible as evidence between the parties, under the conditions set by Law No. 045-2009/AN of 10 November 2009 regulating electronic services and transactions in Burkina Faso.
18Language and severability
These terms are written in French and translated into English. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
If any clause were held invalid, the remaining clauses would continue to apply.
19Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Burkina Faso, in particular Law No. 045-2009/AN of 10 November 2009 regulating electronic services and transactions and Law No. 001-2021/AN of 30 March 2021 on personal data protection.
In case of difficulty, please contact the firm so that an amicable solution can be sought. Failing agreement, disputes fall under the competent courts of Ouagadougou.
