Registration is open for the first cohort of the certified Data Analyst programme. It starts on 24 October 2026 in Ouagadougou, with the option to attend online, and ends on 5 December 2026. Only fifteen places, until 21 October.
Organisations now produce vast amounts of data, and very few people know how to turn it into information a management team can actually act on. That is the job this programme trains for: 6 weeks, 12 sessions, 48 hours.
The programme, week by week
- Week 1 — The role and the foundations of analysis
- Week 2 — Getting to the data with SQL
- Week 3 — Automating with Python
- Week 4 — Reporting with Power BI
- Week 5 — Analysing, telling the story and automating
- Week 6 — The portfolio project
Who is it for?
For those who want data analysis to be their job, or a significant part of it: monitoring and evaluation officers, research officers, management controllers, database managers, recent graduates in economics, statistics, management, computing or social sciences, and professionals changing career.
Three requirements: at least two years of higher education or proven experience in data processing, intermediate Excel skills, and a personal laptop with an internet connection at home. No programming experience is required. The pace is demanding and calls for about five hours of personal work between sessions.
The certificate
The Data Analyst certificate is awarded to participants who attend at least 80% of the sessions and present their portfolio project in the twelfth session. It states the title, the 48 hours, the period, the modules completed and the subject of the project. Each certificate carries a unique number that an employer can verify online.
How to enrol
The fee is 150,000 XOF per participant. A free pre-test helps you gauge your level before committing: the result is only indicative and never prevents enrolment.
No payment is taken on the site. You submit the enrolment request, the firm reviews your application, then contacts you to confirm your place and agree the payment terms.
The programme is delivered by Hama Diallo, an economist-statistician certified as a Microsoft Excel Expert, Google Data Analytics and IBM Data Analytics professional, who has trained more than 700 people across the thirteen regions of Burkina Faso since 2021.
